From time to time I feel drawn to the south of France. I feel very content, almost at home there. I particularly love the Provence with its picturesque little villages, hills, castles and the life there which is partially still quite placid. During the summer months the Provence is much frequented by tourists, but outside these times – especially in winter – you can feel the original energy of this area very clearly.

The Languedoc, on the contrary, is much more placid. The charming landscape is located far from tourist tracks. Maybe it is because it cannot offer such spectacular attractions as the Provence. In connection with Mary Magdalene and her descendants this area offers far more places of influence than the Provence.

My photo-blog shows many pictures and impressions I have brought back from my journeys to the south of France. It is constantly updated.
